Medical.co.cr is created to provide its visitors with a guide to all major medical services in Costa Rica. We found that it is hard to locate doctors for specific treatments and even general information about the medical services of the country. This motivated us to create the Costa Rica Medical Guide. Our site contains information about Hospitals, Clinics, Clinical Laboratories and Drug Stores & Pharmacies, but this is just stage 1. Costa Rica is proud of its Public Health Care system. The country is one of the few that is able to offer completely free services to its population and even immigrants. The country has many public hospitals and clinics spread out through the country to be able to offer one of the best health care coverage to it’s the entire population.

Besides the public medical system, Costa Rica is also the location of many private Hospitals and Clinics. These offer great opportunities for Medical Tourism as most offer American Level treatments at up to one-third of the pricing, leaving room for traveling inside the country.
